Zang Fu Physiology will show the relationships with all of the organs from the Eastern point of view, how they all work together and affect each other. Acupressure Point Location is an integral part of this class - with uses for the main power points of the body. And we will learn how Principles of Yin and Yang relate to all of life - mentally, physically, spiritually, energetically and emotionally. A healthy body takes care of itself! When someone can move in all directions easily, express all thoughts and emotions then move on with life and all of the timing of cycles and flows are in sync -- they have health. In Asia, the doctors believe that 60% of the people get well by themselves - so we just help it along by removing the blockages and balancing the body. Qi Gong is sometimes referred
to as "Self Healing" exercises in China - and prescribed by
the doctors for treating certain disorders. We will practice some of these
exercises as a The balance of the class
will be bodywork techniques that can be used separately or included in
other styles of bodywork. Some of these will include seated massage specialties,
TMJ balancing, neck, shoulder, back and sacral releases. There will also

Class Fee $900 Teri Rogers, Acupressurist, Holistic Health Practitioner, Writer, Teacher, Healer, and Naturopath, has been studying massage and Eastern healing arts since 1980 and teaching massage and Acupressure since 1985 for several colleges, massage conferences and exclusive spa groups here in the U.S. She has also traveled extensively throughout Asia studying and teaching with various schools, teachers, Masters and healers. Some of these locations have included China, Hawaii, Mexico, Bali, Lombok, the Philippines and Thailand. In 1990 she lived in Chiang Mai and was the second foreigner to teach Traditional Thai Massage in Thailand (after Asokananda) - at the Old Medicine Hospital - The Foundation of Shivago Komarpaj. She also studied extensively with many of the great teachers and masters throughout Thailand and has taught, studied and traveled there for several months a year since that time. Teri currently
maintains a successful practice working with Doctors (both Eastern &
Western), Chiropractors, and Healers. She is teaching at Mueller College
for Holistic Studies in San Diego and Western Institute of Neuromuscular
Therapy in Laguna Hills, California. Her clients are people of all ages,
and all walks of life. She loves working with animals as well. Along with
her teaching, practicing, educational videos and writing, she takes students
on study trips throughout the Far East. |
