Clinic Format
These monthly clinics are a tremendous stepping-stone and confidence builder for bodyworkers wanting to build an oncology practice. Work as a team with oncology staff while providing comfort-oriented foot & hand massage for cancer patients during their chemotherapy infusion treatments. This 8-hour clinic is held over two (2) days, on dates of your choice. Clinic date reservations need to be made at the same time, and completed within a 90-day period of one another.

* Monday clinics are limited to female therapists only, due to the high number of male patients present.
* * Oct 15 & 16 clinics are reserved for out-of-county participants.

Prerequisites and Preparation
- Must have previously attended a "Greet the Day" Oncology Massage
2-Day Workshop, or a nationally-recognized equivalent.
- Written proof of TB negative test. Must be in hand, 2 weeks prior to your first clinic date.

Turn-around time on a TB test is 48-72 hours and should not cost more that $22.

Johnnette du Rand ,LMT, NCBTMB, began her journey into healthcare in 1994 after her mother’s cancer diagnosis. It was during this period that she was first exposed to the benefits of holistic practices, specifically massage, for cancer patients. Shortly thereafter she began volunteering as a touch therapist for Hospice, providing comfort-oriented massage for patients nearing the end of life.

In 2003, Johnnette founded Greet the Day, a nonprofit organization committed to improving the quality of life of cancer patients by providing healing practices that address body, mind and spirit. She was nominated as Outstanding Founder for the 2006 Spirit of Philanthropy Award.
